Kristal Golan, Managing Director, AgriFoodTech Alliance
Kristal Golan is a multidisciplinary entrepreneur, manager and start-up investor. She has extensive experience in identifying promising business and investment opportunities, performing data-supported analysis of (start-up) ideas and implementing financials. Kristal has worked for BayWa since 2019. She has an MBA in digital technology management and entrepreneurship, as well as over twelve years of professional experience as the co-founder of a successful e-commerce start-up, a senior manager at a Rocket Internet start-up and a senior strategy and innovation consultant. In her role as Managing Director, she is responsible for AgriFoodTech Venture Alliance´s start-up partnerships and investments and is beyond that also heading the initiative New Protein Solutions.
Isabella Cordesmeyer, Venture Manager, AgriFoodTech Alliance
Isabella´s passion for food started at a very young age in her grandmothers kitchen, experimenting with the most fresh ingredients one can find, which led her to earn a BA in Culinary Arts, years later. Her passion for different cultures and interest in exploring the world led her to graduate in International Relations and Economics and hold an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship by Tel Aviv University. In the past decade, Isabella collected extensive experience from private equity firms, high growth tech startups and established corporates, having worked between Sao Paulo, Tel Aviv and Munich. As a Venture Manager, she is responsable for BayWa´s portfolio startups, investments and diverse projects within the New Protein Solutions department.
Marie Ammann, Senior Innovation & Startup Manager, AgriFoodTech Alliance
Marie joined the AgriFoodTech Venture Alliance, as she is a big fan of steering innvation projects and supporting startups, to change the agriculture and food system to the better. Her background is in food management and agriculture and food economics with a specialization in entrepreneurship and innovation. Before joining BayWa, Marie worked at EIT Food, the European Institute of Food, Agriculture and Nutrition, where she played a key role in strengthening the funding landscape and ecosystem for new, sustainable and future-proof technologies.
Jasmin Dold, Senior Project Manager New Protein Solutions
Jasmin studied food technology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and completed her doctorate in the field of food packaging technology. Based on her expertise, she is responsible for the technological evaluation and technical support of start-ups. As a project manager in the New Protein Solutions business unit, she develops customer-centric ingredient solutions from regional raw materials and specialities. This operational function can be linked to the existing portfolio and scaled together.
Aleix Bruns Pérez, Senior Ingredient Manager New Protein Solutions
Aleix is an experienced procurement specialist with years of expertise in strategic sourcing of plant-based raw materials. Before joining BayWa, he worked at Rügenwalder Mühle, where he served as project leader for "Regional Soy." As Senior Ingredient Manager in the New Protein Solutions business unit, he acts as the interface between raw material trading, ingredient development, and the requirements of customers or the portfolio startups of the AgriFoodTech Venture Alliance.
